Farewell to Dennis Ritchie

October 14th, 2011 § 0 comments § permalink

Dennis is the one who, when Steve Jobs was not yet old enough girlfriend, personally contributed to the creation and development of the C language and consequently of the Unix operating system, born in the States during the 70 years primarily as a system dedicated to the maintenance distance telephone lines.
Industry experts call it "only" the father of computer science, since his approach contributed to the formation of community college focused on the study of new information technologies, as well as the revolution of the system telefonistico USA.
Needless to say that if Jobs is gone with a branch, with Dennis leaves the trunk that held the branch along with others.
So, unfortunately because of this sad event did not mention anyone, it seemed appropriate to recall one of the so-called founding fathers.
